It is nothing more than pages copied on a printer and slapped between a hard cover!! And very poorly copied. As in part of the previous page is copied on to the second page on several pages. Some words on the pages are underlined or circled. Obviously all they did was take a book and photocopy it. The one review on the product states the illustrations are lovely and colored....no they are not. This was intended as a Christmas gift; but there is NO WAY I could give this as a gift. AdairThis is a beautifully written story based on an old legend.It has wonderful evocative symbolism; the old church witha bell tower soaring into the sky; touching the cloudswaiting for a perfect gift for the Christ child; a perfect giftof love.The beautiful illustrations by Mayo Bunker; enhanced with color;add much to this edition. The wonderful church set high on a hillin the midst of a great city; somewhere; faraway; the Gothicchurch interior; the angel acting as the clapper! Very evocative!How many of us; with our getting and spending for ourselves;our families; and; oh yes; uncle Herman and this and that one;try to do something special for Christ; the reason for the season?
