This book is geared to the professional photographer who is hoping to sell stock images. or perhaps break into the market of providing photos for special needs. such as book covers. or books which need specific subjects. such as photos of animals. or food. There doesnt seem to be a guide for photo-documentary books. Apparently they are expensive to produce and only a few publishers are publishing them. I find this confusing. because I have practically filled my book shelves with books largely of photos. but Ive gotten the same comment from three different literary agents--they either dont have contacts with those who publish photo books. comments from two; the third said they are expensive to publish. and harder to get published.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.
