I did have the thought that the promo songs in the description tended to highlight all of the songs that were familiar to me when most of the songs in the book were ones Id never heard of before. However; although Ive just been a frequent bluegrass listener over the years and am now voraciously learning every song I hear since learning guitar so I think the book was more than worth the money. Ive used this brand of fake book in the past for piano and found the quality to be very good.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Great book for bluegrass music!By dhbaileyThis is a great addition to the Bluegrass Fakebook -- between the two books there is some crossover in the tunes that are included but not very much so between the two books you end up with a nice large library of bluegrass songs. This book is laid out just like all the other Hal Leonard "Real Books;" using the same "handwritten" music font and printed so that there are no page turns in the middle of songs. And it comes comb-bound so you can start using it right away and have it lay flat on your music stand.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Simply written and easy to readBy Margaret HoaglandThis book has about 75% of the bluegrass songs I need. Simply written and easy to read. I would highly recommend this fake book if you are into bluegrass; especially if you are a beginner and trying to learn common songs for jams.
