JefferysThis is basically a primer level book. The songs are way too easy for a Level 1 student and needed a lot of notes added (by me) to make them more level appropriate. It is a good selection of movie songs and they provide duets. so adding notes was much simpler than having to compose them myself. Still- it is rather time consuming and annoying to have to do that. Also- the staffs are the size associated with a primer level student- meaning some songs are 6 pages long- not bc they are long songs. but bc the staffs are so large and spaced so far apart.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Easy to playBy kdea473I bought this for one of my piano students (age 8. boy). He enjoys playing from it because it is something other than our lesson books. It unfortunately. the tunes are unrecognizable to him.I like that the hand position is shown for each song. and the songs are adequately simplified. For reference. hes been playing about 9 months. and is finishing up Alfreds complete level 1.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Inspiring more time at the pianohellip;.By AliceWe love this music book! Better yet. my grandson and his piano teacher love it. Simple arrangements of familiar movie tunes. but the scores allow for some relevant teaching moments and rich accompaniment.
