If you are seeking a more thorough history of Detroits beer industry; buy the late Peter Blums excellent "Brewed in Detroit: Breweries and Beers since 1830." As an owner who is mis-named in the book because the writer relied on incorrect syndicated print media for facts; it would have been nice to actually meet the guy who was writing this book.
