Dennis Alexander is at his best here. and the printing format is lovely. Students call it the "Castle Book". The "God Rest You Merry. Gentlemen" piece. however. is strictly for the teacher or quite advanced student. due to constantly shifting meter - a real challenge but tremendous fun. Excellent little Christmas piano book.By Moulton11I have just found this particular piano composer. and I really like him. His Christmas songs are traditional. but with a fresh take. I particularly loved God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. It has such a fun. upbeat sound. If you google his name you will find a website where you can listen to a lot of his songs before you buy them. This book has seven great arrangements that are late intermediate to early advanced. For my skill level. they will take a little practicing. but are very doable.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
