Such a lovely biography written by the choreographer of the "Phantom of the Opera". It is a true. heart-breaking story of a little girl committed to dancing. evolving into a perfect ballerina. She aptly describes the atmosphere of ww2 in London. sensed in the ballet world through special performances and struggle ffor costumes. in a very english. understatement way. She is also very respectful of her teachers and fellow dancers. again in a sweet typical english style. A perfect read for ballet and ww2 history fans.
