[audiobook] A User's Guide to the View Camera: Third Edition by Jim Stone in Arts-Photography

Description

An essential overview as well as a theoretical critique for all students of design history. Walker studies the intellectual discipline of Design History and the issues that confront scholars writing histories of design. Taking his approach from a range of related fields; he discusses the problems of defining design and writing history. He considers the different methods that leading scholars have used in the absence of a theoretical framework; and looks critically at a number of histories of design and architecture.

A users guide to the view cameraBy tboneThis is an older book which is out of print but the information in it is good. I recently purchased a view camera on Craigslist and although Ive been in photography for 50 years I was a little rusty when it came to view cameras. I would recommend this book to anyone who wasnt sure on how to use their view camera.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Good. and bad.By Ethe content of this book is great. Very helpful and descriptive. and not too dry. I docked a star because this book is very pricey. and the inside of the book is all black and white and seems to be printed on lightweight paper. Some pages in mine were even faded. as if the printer had been running out of ink/toner.
