There are about 200 books in this ebook series that are offered in the kindle store for either free or for .99cent;. You cant really go wrong with the books offered for free. There is a variety of subjects covered and most of the books follow about the same format. You can take a peek inside the books by clicking "Look Inside" and this is pretty much what you get in each book.I like this particular book. The format for this book is the same as most of the Baby Professor books in this series which have a picture with a paragraph and facts on one page. Then the next page is just a photo. It would be nice if they had another paragraph on that page too.Overall; I do love theses books although it would be nice if the books went into more detail but they are very basic books that I hope will get my kids interested in finding more about each subject.I plan on keeping these books on my iPad for down time for my kids when they get bored waiting different places like the doctors office or practice for a sibling. I sometimes watch a friends 3 year old daughter and she likes to look through the pictures on my phone. I plan on showing her these books to keep her entertained. The Outback and the WildlifeBy WendyAnimals of the Australian Outback: Animal Encyclopedia for Kids is a book that I really enjoyed reading. I have a love of things in Australia. I have some family that lives in Queensland; so it makes me a bit bias. When I look at this book it reminds me of this gorgeous country; great weather; good food and the amazing wildlife that live there.This book will tell you a bit about the vast Outback and what inhabits the rugged terrain. It goes on and tells you about lizards; snakes; spiders; dingos and the most famous marsupial; the kangaroos. It tells you about how these animals survive in the brutal heat and what they did to adapt. It tells you about how the animals protect themselves from other animals and predators.The photographs are amazing. They are bright and vibrant photographs that they make you think that you a right there near them. I think the photographer did an excellent job!This book is great to read with your kids or by yourself. Anything to help you learn and respect nature is a great thing. It will teach you a little bit about these animals and in some small way; make you want to visit this wonderful country. Just be careful of the crawlies that will bite!! I hope you enjoy the book. It is a cool but that takes no time at all to read. Your kids will love learning about the animals and as parents; you will love your kids learning.
