Granted; some are projects Ive already done; like bleach discharging and painting through a stencil; but I love the idea of completing a series of similarly-sized cloth pieces; and then stitching them all together into one project at the end. Im thinking cloth art journal. If youre a hardened; wizened old crone of a fiber artist; who feels shes done it all already; then this book is not for you. But; if youre a novice; or someone who enjoys another point of view sometimes; along with some new stuff; then have a look at Ms. Steins ideas here.5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Hoped for moreBy JennyI bought this book because of the many wonderful reviews. I bought "Textile Art" at the same time. I received "fabric art workshop" first. I looked few quite a few times and thought; "Well; Ill keep it for reference; but..." Today I received the "Textile Art" book. I LOVE IT! I didnt realize they were the same author! I now see how they build off each other. If you are looking for a great book; buy the "Textile Art" book by Susan Stein first. Then if you want to buy this one; you would like it better. Or I do.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. niceBy sanNice book...lots of good stuff
