Henry Fuseli is famous for his paintings and drawings of nude figures caught in strained poses suggestive of intense emotion. He had a affinity for inventing chilling fantasies; such as that in ldquo;The Nightmarerdquo;. He had a noticeable influence on the style of his younger contemporary; William Blake.Fuseli sketches numbered about 800; they have high qualities of invention; and are frequently superior to his paintings. His method included deliberately exaggerating the due proportions of the parts and throwing his figures into contorted attitudes. One technique involved setting down random points on a sheet; which then became the extreme points of the various limbs mdash; rather like creating a constellation from the unintentional relations of stars. He rarely drew the figure from life; basing his art on study of the antique and Michelangelo. He produced no landscapesmdash;"Damn Nature! Its always puts me out;" was his characteristic exclamationmdash;and painted only two portraits.

I am on a blood thinner and can hemorrhage; get hematoma and die as a result of a fall due to slippery heels and soles without adequate traction. These boots were no bargain when I had to pay $38 to a shoe repair shop for new heels and new soles with traction. Clark will go out of business if people sue due to falls from their defective shoes/boots; made in China obviously; and not concerned about safety! Terrible! The boots are attractive; but they have no arch support either and they are loose even though they are my size; and they pull my socks down into them; for an uncomfortable walking experience. I do not recommend them!
