Robert Holmans work is the gold standard; beyond topicality; pitch perfect throughout. I read it one sitting; couldnt put it down. He certainly is the playwrights playwright. So heartening to hear him lauded by the current generation of shakers and mover; but it was ever thus; throw two or three playwrights together in the late 70s/early 80s; chances were thed (wed) end up enthusing about Other Worlds; The Overgrown Path or (of course) the first production of Making Noise Quietly. Marvellous playwriting. Thank you.
