Great book for teaching kids all by yourself!By Ike SnopesGreat book for teaching kids yourself. without the cost of a pricey piano teacher. as long as you know at least something about the piano. If you are trying to produce the next Mozart. this might not be the best book. Or you might need to supplement it with other books that stress the fundamentals of technique. SchmittThe prep course is OK for young students (ages 4-6) but the songs are rather boring. Some students may find them too "babyish" and the words are rather ridiculous. I use traditional method books for learning to read music and concepts but only for the first few years. After that they become irrelevant.
