I wish I could take pictures of shelter dogs like this wonderful photographer; to be able to help the dogs in this way is such a wonderful idea. The pictures of all the dogs were funny; sweet and so darn cute. The author even gave a little synopsis of the dog at the bottom of their pictures. I wont go into that too much as people make me so mad; and lets just leave it at that.. oh and please research a dog before you get one to see if it fits with who you are and your lifestyle so we can help keep them out of shelters! In the back of the book; the author added a few pictures of the dogs that have been adopted; I wish we could have seen pictures of all of them in happy homes :-) I do hope all of the ones adopted got to stay in the home that chose them.Once again; the pictures of these beautiful dogs are amazing and some really funny. I enjoyed this book immensely and like I said; I do intend to buy it when it comes out; not only because of the beautiful pictures but also because the proceeds go to the Utah Animal Shelter where these pictures where taken and Best Friends Animal Society where I have been a member for years! :-) Kudos!*I would like to thank Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.*I have since bought this wonderful book from since I first did my review. hearts;1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. instant mood lifter... Mans best friend depicted in the best way!!!By AniThe author uses her photography talents to help shelter dogs get adopted. Though you may have seen some of her work online already (she went viral). This Book features all new photos in her own creative style. The photos will make you laugh; smile and cry because each tells the story of these eager adorable four legged friends. everyone I show it to adores the photos; and it features so many different breeds many tell me stories of their own pooch look a likes. A great coffee book; and a great educational book for children on the life changing decision to own a pup.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. If you love dogs and their hilarious antics and all around derpinessBy Kristina P.If you love dogs and their hilarious antics and all around derpiness; this book is for you! Guinnevere captures their wonderful personalities in such a cute; fun; and creative way. Adoptions have skyrocketed at The Humane Society of Utah thanks to this clever campaign; and I loved learning about where the dogs came from; and where they ended up. The pictures really bring these dogs to life and anyone would be hard pressed to not want to adopt each and every one of them! The updates at the end were the cherry on top. This book will definitely be a much given gift at Christmas time this year!
