And all accomplished on a 5th grade education. His writing is marvelous.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. As close to the inside story of Groucho as you will get.By ILKAnyone can read this book and be entertained for hours.Based upon Dick Cavetts recommendation in his book "Brief Encounters"; I bought this; along with the book of G.S. Kaufmans writings; "By George".While I could take or leave the latter; The Groucho Marx book is more to my taste; parts are hysterical; and much of the book contains personal anecdotes that resonate decades later.IMHO of the two; Groucho was the more entertaining writer.(Cavetts book wasnt bad either)1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. One Witty WriterBy edVery interesting read. Groucho proves not only to be a great comedian; but a great writer as well who can masterfully stick his humorous dagger in to get his way.
