Almost immediately one of our new friends opened it up and exclaimed "thats my father" regarding one of the pictures. So many of these places are still around. Some of the pictures are not of the very best quality and frankly some are terrible. One should remember though that the writer was not a professional photographer and really good pictures may not always be available. If you are from Livingston County you will find the book worthwhile and a good price if purchased on rather than at a book store.The quality of the paper used in the book is rather good.There is a similar book on Paducah; Kentucky which is a neighboring town about 20 mikes to the west.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. great bookBy David K.
