I very much like US history and AnnistonBy FranjI very much like US history and Anniston. so it was only natural that I bought and truly enjoyed this book. The many black and white images (each with explanatory text) and the concise chapter introductions all combine to conveniently (and efficiently) communicate so much more than most history books typically do. I have seen the publishers books (Arcadia) displayed in book stores in various parts of the country and personally love the ratio of image to text. That said. author Kimberly ODell did a superb job of selecting interesting images and weaving tight. informative narrative around them. If you want to know about Annistons history. I consider this book a "must have". If you simply like American history. I say give it a try. After all. Anniston has a special place in our history. having been known as "The Model City".
