The author describes in detail the history of the Chicago drawbridges and includes many details about each bridge. The photos; many in full color; are extremely well done. My Dad was a Chicago Ironworker and worked on keeping them operable for over 40 years. The author even noted the his dedication plaque from the Grand Avenue Bridge. I wish the book had more pictures.
