Anyone who is a fan of James Hillman and others of the archetypal tradition will find this book a nice addition to their library of archetypal illustrations. Cobb remains true to the core ideas of archetypal psychology and elaborates Hillman through the work of various artists. Edvard Munch and Andrei Tarkofsy (in the first 2 chapters) whose works did not always resonate with the general public but which carry significance for soul which Cobb is able to demonstrate quite convincingly. I feel like Cobb genuinely knows the soul I sense.0 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy RichelleAbsolute genius!
