A superlative overviewBy David ArbogastThis is a superlative overview of architectural conservation on the European continent and in both North and South America. It is crisply organized by continent beginning with Europe. Each continent is broken into its constituent countries and both the history and the present state of the art as conducted within each country is discussed in sufficient detail. accompanied by excellent black-and-white illustrations. There is. as well. both excellent introductory discussions as well as summaries.
