My only regret was that the book wasnt longer. I found the historical background of the Boulder Hot Springs Resort particularly interesting; because the ghost known as Simone is thought to be one of the prostitutes brought to the place long ago. She was supposedly murdered by the manager in his office. Guests relaxing in the outdoor hot pool have seen her in the windows of the derelict west wing. My friend and I held an EVP session one night in "Simones Suite;" named for the ghost; but the recorder picked up nothing. Just before we went to bed; I asked the spirit to do something to let us know she was present. When I woke the next morning; my friend and I both smelled a strong perfume that hovered over my bed. Neither of us used perfume; and there were no scented products in the room. The ghost? Perhaps. At any rate; it definitely added excitement to our stay.
