I tracked him down to Steubenville; (he was a tinplate worker); and I wanted a brief overview of the place where he and his family had settled. This book is just what I wanted. Its concise with a well written; witty narrative. An excellent informative and enjoyable read.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Remembering Steubenville; OhioBy Toledo girlMasterfully written with a personal touch. Excellent information about the beginning of a city and its buildings; schools; stores and especially the way people existed there. My Father and his family were born here; it was a must have for me and one for you if you do genealogy.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
