Authenticity is a Con: (Provocations)

[PDF] Authenticity is a Con: (Provocations) by Peter York at Arts-Photography

Description

This is a brief; but handy book outlining the task of viewing theatrical performances and evaluating them. Although aimed primarily at the festival level respondent; it is a book that can enhance the ability to evaluate and respond to the theatre experience; creating at the broadest level a sensitive and enriched audience.

My granddaughter always wants me to draw a horse for her. This is a great book.... I am getting better at drawing horses. I hope I dont wear out the book before I give it to her for Christmas.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Very Easy to UseBy Mrs KiwiMy grand daughter loves drawing; and loves horses This book is enabling her to combine both interests. The author has chosen to use regular shapes to help the drawings; ovals and circles. He has made it so simple that by Christmas night my grand daughter (10) had already drawn her first horse. This is an exceptional book; very well done.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Look for a Better Book.By KatyI hate to be a fly in the ointment; but this book could be a lot better. For one thing; the artist obviously doesnt know horses or their "tack"at all! HIs drawings are very crude. There are many errors in the drawings; and the step by steps are lacking in teaching the artist to really see the form of a horse. If you want to learn to really draw horses well; you cant do that from poor; inaccurate drawings to copy.
