Review
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Wonderful book on Bachs subjectivityBy Mr PandaJohn Eliot Gardiners book is more popular. Im sure. but this is a much deeper study. Its an excellent discussion of Bach (and not just the choral music) and a very clear and persuasive look at Bach as an emerging enlightenment figure. Very recommended.
