We practiced pieces together so I decided to buy my own. Now the funny part is that when I got it. I realized that my book was more extensive than the guy whose book I had been playing out of. I was delighted but puzzled. Upon comparing the two books together. found that mine was actually the teachers score and his was just violin. It was a very wonderful mistake!! Love this book!!! I play all the pieces basic and advance and enjoy playing with the CD which really makes the book very special to me. It feels like a daily bluegrass jam. I recommend this book for anyone who likes the sound of Irish melodies. Good for a beginner or for someone like me that has played off and on over 50 years.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Incorrect versionBy Joseph D. HeiningeOrdered the violin version but received the cello version instead. I am surprised this error has not been corrected. as other reviewers have been commenting about this issue for over a year now.Furthermore. the book appears to have been scanned at a low resolution. The text and notes are legible. but are not very clear on my iPad screen. The attached images should give you an idea of the quality. and show that bass clef is used instead of treble clef.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great for Students Beginner-Advanced.By Brittany JohnsonGreat Tunes in a wonderful layout! The book has the basic tune. advanced tune. and back-up all on one page. The improvisation suggestions in the back are great and will keep students that are on multiple levels entertained. I also love that the lyrics and story behind each tune are posted as well as a few great pictures on each page. Its a great book to use individually or in a group setting because they provide you with 2 versions of the tune and back-up.
