Much of the first part of the book is a bunch of weak generalizations that are not enlightening and make you question if you should even keep reading. There are some useful little nuggets here and there. but by and large the first half or so offers very little of value for someone interested in learning how to be a property manager. There are also several typos - garbage. As the book progresses. there are various sections with useful nuggets of information. By the time I got to the end of the book. I looked back and felt like there were enough bits of useful information for the book to not be a complete waste of time. Overall. I think it is OK.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Very general informationBy deeThis book is good for general knowledge but just scratches the surface. If you already have a property management business with a couple of years experience. this is not the book to learn how to grow. It does not cover: adding additional profit centers. how to prospect for additional properties to manage (it does cover prospecting for tenants). nor does it address creating an operating policy book or even the creation of duplicable systems.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Need a new career?By Brenda JackmanJust the right book for the beginner who wants to learn about property management.
