An achingly honest account of the quest to deal with the fallout from a long ago teenage molestation.By Will MacadamMartins one man play based on his book THE TRICKY PART was an event from which I will never recover. The story of his being molested by a Catholic Brother at camp one summer when he was well under age; it was not only gut wrenching; but eye opening. You see Martin was a gay kid. However when he confronts his molester years later; as an adult; he finds himself strangely ambivalent. Why? He does manage to get out something like: "Yes I wanted it; but I was a kid; I was in no position to give you permission; you should have know that; it was trespass" but there is no anger. In my opinion; few write emotional landscapes as beautifully as Moran. A simple wordsmith; he imparts his tale with carefully chosen phrasing that cuts to the core of his feelings and draws the reader in. Its a beautiful and breathtaking journey he leads us on.
