Childhood Memories RevistedBy Lynn McArdMy grandparents lived in Tonawanda and North Tonawanda and I stayed with them a few weeks every summer as a child. I went to Dealings; Fantasy Island; Darien Lakes (loved The Viper coaster) and Crystal beach. Dealings was my favorite park with the boat ride and carousel and I have always wondered what happened to my favorite horse when the park was closed.. We lived in Salamanca when I was in kindergarten and I remember Fentier Village and the tram that went up the hill.This book brought back so many memories for me! I showed it to my dad and he started telling me stories of Fentier Village and Celoron Park. I am so glad that the authors showcased the parks that I grew up with.
