My wife was born in Independence MO and after looking through the book itll be a great addition to her library. Do wish there could have been more on the railroads; so important in the early days of these towns. But independence was really early days. Any Missouri resident will appreciate this book very much. Since my wife and I were married in Independence; it will always hold a special place in my heart. So on a personal level love the book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
