Excellent collection of the "art." Decide for yourself if its art. Somebody buys the stuff.By lyndonbrechtInteresting. lots of illustrations of the "art." I read this in preparing for a couple of classes on what is and is not art. for a class in the humanities I taught for several years. This book is an excellent source of images for discussion whether it is art.Most of this form of art seem to be produced in Mexico and elsewhere for the American market. There appears to be quite a market for it. Im puzzled by its appeal in any other sense than what long ago was considered "camp". so awful it had a certain attraction. Decide for yourself. In technical terms some of it seems competent but I dont see much originality in it.
