This is a good basic instruction of the Nashville Number System with a lot of good songs.By CustomerI purchased this book with The Nashville Number System book. This book has a good chapter on reading the charts although it isnt as deep as Chas book. However it covers everything you need to play the songs as charted. Ive only played a couple of the songs so far as Im really working on other music and trying to learn the system for worship music. I did pull up a Vince Gill song on youtube and played along with it using the chart in the book. It worked very well and was accurate. There are 200 songs in the book but none of them have the lyrics. So if you are expecting a fake book that has chords and lyrics that isnt what you are going to get. And of course you dont get normal chords like C; F G. You Get the song is in C and the chords are 1; 4 5. But of course that is the point. This is a good basic instruction of the Nashville Number System with a lot of good songs.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. I really enjoyed this bookBy George D. BlierI really enjoyed this book. It is a good summary of how the system works upfront; and a lot of classic tunes to go through to reinforce what youve learned. I had a great time just connecting on YouTube and playing through the songs.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
