Every firm listed in this book deserves its own well-researched book. instead of only a few pages in a compilation. But until the day comes when all those books are published. this book will do yeomans work to help tell the story. Just buy it already!Some of the firms in this book played a significant role in helping the USA win World War II (e.g.. Irving). Many Western NY-ers found gainful employment in the firms documented in this book. Those hard-working folks deserve to have the work they performed somehow recognized and documented.There are many history books about WNY. but few are as interesting as this one. Not many people can buy every book published about WNY. but this book should be near the top of your "Buy It List."
