But only one persons side of things ...By Joseph LattatorresThe book was a good read. But only one persons side of things many people enjoyed their music after all it was music and everyone has their own taste a catchy tune and cute boys equal sales.Miss Sullivan is clearly stating things as she remembers them. There were many other women who enjoyed their music and 40 years still have fond memories of that time even my mom who has too many photos of this group. Maybe this should be a must read for young girls who think a tryst or two will become a forever thing it rarely will. And turning up everywhere a boy band stays well what do you think now a days a restraining order maybe .Miss Sullivan learned a lot look at how far she has come good for her. This was a sort of training ground for her. The Rollers learned a lot also and not the easy way such is life. and the beat goes on.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy Cheryl RiederI loved this book. Took me back to being a teen again!9 of 12 people found the following review helpful. I was a Roller fan. too...By Jennie H.I knew I HAD to get this book as soon as I found out what the subject matter was. The Bay City Rollers were my first favorite group. and I will always have a soft spot in my heart (some would say my head!) for them.If only I had been old enough to travel around the country after them (I was 11 years old when I became a fan). Ms. Sullivan takes you into the world of single-minded obsession that flares at its brightest during the teen years. I know how it is to want something (and someone!) so badly. even though you ask yourself WHY you felt this way years later...But I must say (for those who dont know the Rollers)...the BCRs music is not QUITE as bad as Ms. Sullivan describes it. I recently bought "The Definitive Collection" ... and its tons ahead of the slop that passes for pop on todays radio...
