This time Im trying recorder because its more compact/portable than other wind instruments Ive played. Yay!This book explains how to read music then step by step introduces new notes while showing their fingerings. Tempo changes; refrains and other natations are added as the student progresses. I much prefer the "Sweet Pipes" series of recorder learning books for both the soprano and alto recorder as well as books intended for youngsters as well as adult oriented books.
