Julie Adair King has this camera nailed. and her lessons on general photography topics are invaluable! What a great go-to guide. I am not reading it cover to cover. but rather in short topics and subjects that are of interest to me at the time. Ive really enjoyed just randomly opening the book to find a new tip about my specific camera that I probably would have never learned with the true owners manual and users guide. The PICTURES ARE FABULOUS and correspond well to the point she is teaching. The new camera is fantastic. and after just a few days with the Rebel "Dummies Book" I am happy to report that I have totally weaned myself from the "auto" button. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all new Rebel T4i cameras. You will never open that little owners manual again!9 of 9 people found the following review helpful. Informative. but...By Roger SunnThere was a lot of work that went into this book. My personal opinion is that its not well organized. Too much jumping around the book to get the information. Others might think its great but for my way I learning. I need a progression that moves me from the most basic to the more detail in layers. Its all there. just not the best for me.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. An Excellent. In-depth Resource on the T4iBy Jeff SwitzerThe Dummies book explains everything about the Canon 4Ti in depth. Ill never use a lot of the features of the 4Ti (which is a GREAT camera) but if I do want to understand an unused capability I can learn about it in this book. The book is very approachable. (I guess the dummies title gives a clue to that.) It takes the reader through a through a step-by-step approach.I actually bought two copies over time. I loaned one to a friend and I dont think she wants to give it back since she uses it a lot. so I took the path of least resistance and purchased another copy since I value it that much.
