For more than 140 years; the Hash Knife brand has intrigued Western history lovers. From its rough-and-ready-sounding name to its travels throughout Texas; Montana; and Arizona; the Hash Knife sports a romance like few others in the cattle industry. Several outfits have been proud to call the brand their own; and the stories behind the men who worked for these companies are the epitome of Western lore and truth combined. Beginning in 1884; the Hash Knife--owned by the Aztec Land and Cattle Company--came to Arizona. The brand left a lasting impression on places like Holbrook; Joseph City; Winslow; and the famed OW Ranch while shaping Northern Arizona. From its historic roots to the famed Hash Knife Pony Express Ride that takes place each January; the Hash Knife has left its mark as a beloved mainstay of the American West.

It is warm; funny; adventurous and filled with characters familiar and new. Imagine Robin Hood meeting As You Like It; with a modern psychological twist. Robin Hood is a land-based freebooter who seems to be motivated by a hair-trigger temper and a grudge against authority. Any authority. Oh; and women too. Seems like any women.Enter a Marion who is Robins match. Add the Shakespearean twist: she must marry Prince John--OR ELSE! Johns a major meanie who kills the father of two peasant kids and then tries to turn them into propoganda tools.Oh yeah; and then theres Pierre; Marions clown/companion/guard who changes from a fop with hair like a meringue into a--well; not quite a hero; but he does redeem himself. And theres a dog.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The Best Play in the History of Plays!!!By Lauren SmithI cannot express the joy this play gave me when I first saw it; and the joy it continues to give me when I read it over and over again. I saw it for the first time in Ashland; Oregon at the Ashland Shakespeare Festival; and fell in love with everything: the characters; the story; the heart; the passion; the comedy; everything! I dont know if I can ever see it again; but I love having the screen play so I can enjoy it forever more.
