There are about 200 books in this ebook series that are offered in the kindle store for either free or for .99cent;. You cant really go wrong with the books offered for free. There is a variety of subjects covered and most of the books follow about the same format. You can take a peek inside the books by clicking "Look Inside" and this is pretty much what you get in each book.I like this particular book. The format for this book is a little different than most of the Baby Professor books in this series which usually have a picture with a paragraph and facts on one page. Then the next page is just a photo. It would be nice if they had another paragraph on that page too. This snake book is a little different because it has a picture of a snake on each page (very cool pictures btw) and on each page it has a fun fact about snakes in one or two sentences. Overall; I do love theses books although it would be nice if the books went into more detail but they are very basic books that I hope will get my kids interested in finding more about each subject.I plan on keeping these books on my iPad for down time for my kids when they get bored waiting different places like the doctors office or practice for a sibling.***** I received this ebook for free for my honest review. ******0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The pictures are very pretty in the book - lots of color and character. However; based on the topic; I feel that the pictures are actually quite uninspired while being very pretty. Only one picture of a cobra in the whole book! I have just reviewed another; almost identical book about snakes by the same company; and it seems like the author just gave up and got tired or something. When you are talking about scary snakes you dont want to have a bunch of lifeless curled up snakes in the book. You want them to be somewhat impressive; and I didnt see that; neither in this book; nor in the other one I have just read.
