Excellent ReadBy Judith DamronThis is a book for anyone interested in being centered in life. with the pottery wheel and clay as the perfect metaphor. It is an old book with an eternal message. For potters and non potters alike. I highly recommend this book.10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Not too rigid. not too loose - a just right centerBy Wayne BenensonI have no comment to add on the other excellent reviews but this. Centering is a "right on time" gem. I used to wait for the new album of my favorite musician or group to gain instruction or affirmation on my life journey. I then looked to books and movies and plays to do the same. As I got older I became more of a curmudgeon; teachers were harder to find. I became aware of Centering on a fluke. I was struggling with my own slippery center. I expected to do battle with the author over finding the whole in every part. I had an attitude. I began to read the book just before I went to sleep. Little did I expect to be still reading it into the wee wee hours of the morning. Totally unexpectedly my teacher arrived. even though she is no longer breathing on the planet. Thank you MC Richards for being so honest and available and vulnerable. I cant help but underline passages. again and again.Wayne BenensonSeattle. WA
