There was no one quite like Charles Faudree. and Im an avid fan of his style. I just dont think this book captures his best work. Many of the photos are repeated from other books although this was not the last one written. Overall. the rooms seem too cluttered and fussy and not in character with his style. His rooms normally evoke a feeling of warmth and an invitation to come in and sit down. Sadly. not this time. My other books from him are lovingly used. with turned down corners and notes tucked inside. but this book is one Ill leave on the shelf.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Gorgeous photography as always and I love the shots of rooms from above and the format of sketches of rooms preceding the actual photos. And. as always. his beloved dog is in many of the room photos - not because he was placed there but because he loves to be in the thick of things! If you have enjoyed Charles previous books. you will love this one too. I find myself picking it up again and again.
