Smithgreat read; been a fan since Highway to Hell came out when I was 13; didnt know that much about Bon until I read this book. Everything I thought about him was wrong; seemed like a great person- friendly;open;loved his family and he loved all types of music.I also didnt realize he was that much older than the rest of the band;and paid his dues for many years.12 of 12 people found the following review helpful. A BON SCOTT MASTERPIECE!By Stephen E. MaloBefore we get started; lets make one thing clear. I am an AC/DC nut. They are my favorite band and have been for 15 years. Sorry to the elders; but being 29 I got in ASAP in the mid to late 80s.I love this book. I thought I knew it all; but I did not. Bon possibley being thrown out of the band? Contradictory to everything Ive read or heard. The book is gripping; especially the 2nd half. A must read for any AC/DC fan who thought he knew it all. Trust me...you dont.Great read and great buy. Well written. Highly recommended.I hope the author writes the "Brian Years". I need to know more...Steve Malo Litchfield; CT USA1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. It stalls after a bit but its okayBy CocoaJoeVery informative on the life of Bon Scott; but I have to admit that it really stalls out a little over a 1/4 into the book. It was still informative and I learned a bunch about Bon that I never had never known. Its not the greatest so dont go in with too high of hopes; but its still worth the read.
