Beautiful Story and IllustrationsBy Drewe JeffcoatIm one of those weird Southerners who doesnt listen to country music. so though I knew about Dolly Parton I didnt know her music. One day this book was displayed at the library. so I picked it up to take a peek. What a beautiful story and lovely pictures! I ordered a copy of my own and borrowed the movie by the same name. Anything Dolly Parton!!!!By Pony girlMy kids grew up listening to Dolly. and weve used her songs in many ways. the coat of many colors backs up the bible story. Jolene is my second daughters middle name. and when my youngest daughter couldnt get out of bed in the morning. we would crank up "Romeo" and let her wake up to Dolly every morning!!!! Who wouldnt want to wake up to "Whyd ya come in here lookin like that"???? !!!!!!!! Ive never met Dolly. but Id love to. These books that I bought are for my 12 grandchildren!!!! I bought 5-one for each family. and my grandchildren should learn something from them!!!!!
