Bartolomeacute; Esteban Murillo (1617 ndash; 1682) was a Spanish Baroque painter. Although he is best known for his religious works; Murillo also produced a considerable number of paintings of contemporary women and children. These lively; realist portraits of flower girls; street urchins; and beggars constitute an extensive and appealing record of the everyday life of his times.

Jesse Burkhardt must have climbed quite a few hills to capture freights and passenger trains in the spectacular landscapes off the Columbia River Gorge. The author side of Mr. Burkhardt provides interesting information about the locomotives and the freight they push and pull. Train buffs will certainly enjoy this book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
