Great art work and reminds the reader of the true meaning of ChristmasBy BattleshipThis is a terrific book. The art work is fantastic. Thomas Kinkade produced countless beautiful paintings. This treasury contains several winter pictures of landscapes and Christmas themes. The text is encouraging and full of comforting Bible verses. There are several traditional Christmas Carols in the text as well. The pattern was including some Bible verses. then a Christmas Carol. then some insights about growing up in a single-parent home in California. There was some privation. but the household had a lot of love. Kinkade reminisced about the moments of blessings in his childhood and he was devoted to his hard-working Christian mother. The paintings are exquisite and the contrast between light and dark shadows is prominent. There are pictures of homes. wreaths. trees. and people going to and fro in villages and resorts. My only minor criticism is that some of the pictures were shown on multiple occasions. so there was some unnecessary repetition. I recommend this book most heartily. It glorifies Christ and warms the heart. It highlights the true meaning of Christmas and celebrates Gods glorious creation.
