While I think this is great for a person with a tad bit of experience. this makes drawing appear more complicated than it really is. It did not really teach me in a way that would hold to memory. Get through this big book and you will definitely have a much greater grasp of artist sketching whether for stand alone enjoyment or for laying out a painting.
