Not much feeling; insight; nor interest shown in the subject.Very dry reading and refers constantly to NEC. I got this book to learn NEC; not summarize it. Im not sure exactly what this books intent is. A Must Have bookBy Robert RiceI am a Journeyman Electrician and I highly recommended this book. I am required to take NEC code courses as part of my licensing and I wish that this book could be made into a seminar. It clarifies the dry; heady requirements spelled out in the NEC in a down to earth way that I can actually understand. It simplifies the NEC without losing the intent of the "musts" and "shalls" that are required for compliance. The illustrations are solid and the tables make sense. One reviewer commented on skimming through the book on-line and said the 6 foot rule was wrong. If you actually READ the book; youd see it is a general representation not some definitive illustration. If you want to be able to really understand the NEC so that you can apply it at work; then BUY THIS BOOK.
