[audiobook] Convergence and Fragmentation: Media Technology and the Information Society. Changing Media Changing Europe Series; Volume 5. (Changing Media; Changing Europe) by From Intellect in Arts-Photography

Description

Based on work the author has carried out with survivor groups in South Africa and Northern Ireland; Recording Memories from Political Violence combines written and audiovisual texts to describe and analyze the use of documentary filmmaking in recording experiences of political conflict. A variety of issues relevant to the genre are addressed at length; including the importance of ethics in the collaboration between the filmmaker and the participant and the effect of location on the accounts of participants. McLaughlin draws on the diverse fields of film and cultural studies; as well as nearly twenty years of production experience; in this informed and instructive contribution to documentary filmmaking and post-conflict studies.

I am going to see it at the Comedie Francaise this summer and the English version will definitely help.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. I would love to perform this someday; or see it performed!By JaimeI would love to perform this someday or see it performed. This is the kind of play I so thoroughly enjoy. Quick witted; fun comedy! Live on stage it would be a fast paced; door slamming farce. Misunderstanding and mistaken identities; super cute. I read this in one sitting; which isnt that surprising; it is a play. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to laugh out loud while reading.
