This isnt really a one-star review. but look very carefully before you leap: I bought this Kindle book thinking I was buying Pearces novel. and this isnt the novel. Read all the fine print here: this version of Cool Hand Luke with two different authors (and. at present. a blue cover) is actually a stage play. Its based on the novel. and probably has dialogue straight from the novel. but it doesnt have any of the narrative. because of course its a play.
