Great Pictorial history of the areaBy Karen BasliI purchased this book because I am working on a family history and our ancestors lived in the Cambridge area in the late 1700s; but even if I didnt have ancestors from that area I would have enjoyed reading about the history and looking at the great photos. If you have ever taken a drive up Route 22 in New York and driven through the picturesque towns of Salem; Cambridge and Hoosick Falls you will enjoy this book. Seeing Cambridge and White Creek are in a very remote part of upstate New York. I was surprised that the area was so important in the Revolutionary War. I enjoyed it.
