Droughts are another worldwide climate change atmospheric energy increae manifestation. Global warming increases atmospheric energy conditions making many differant weather events worse than otherwise such as huricanes; tornadoes; and even winter blizzards.The book also covers the dangers of coastal flooding that threatens more than 40% of the US population and billions of people worldwide who live in flood plains. These need to raise their homes high enough to avoid both the sea level that is rising yearly plus storm surges that can reach up to twenty-five feet above each high tide. Buildings can also be moved to higher ground. Sadly; in many locations there is no higher ground.
