Und doch glaubt man bei der Betrachtung dieses Gelauml;ndes all den Trubel von 40 Jahren Rummel noch zu houml;ren. Christopher Flade und Sacha Szabo; zwei bekannte Freizeitparkexperten; machen sich zusammen mit dem Leser auf eine spannende Spurensuche. Dazu wurden 20 Zeitzeugen zu ihren Erlebnissen im Spreepark befragt. Herausgekommen ist kein konventioneller Parkfuuml;hrer; der diesem besonderen Ort auch gar nicht gerecht wuuml;rde; herausgekommen ist eine liebevoll zusammengetragene literarisch-wissenschaftliche Parkfuuml;hrung; die Einblicke in 40 Jahre Parkgeschichte gibt. WoodThis is a quick and basically interesting read if you have lived in Austin for a long time and have eaten at most of the places featured in the book. Other than that I am not sure about the intended audience. It in not a restaurant review; but just a set of stories about different restaurants - sort of a Cliff Notes history of places to eat in Austin. A recurring theme is that the wheelers and dealers and politicos "are here".
